A private three-day Luwuk Banggai island-hopping trip that mixes jungle waterfalls, glass-clear lake swimming, and snorkeling in turquoise Banggai lagoons, with genuine time among the local island communities. Day 1
Land at Syukuran Aminuddin Amir Airport, where your guide meets you for the transfer into town.
Lunch in Luwuk City.
Head out to Piala Waterfall to explore and swim in its clear natural pools.
Catch golden hour from the Teletubbies Peak viewpoint over the rolling green hills.
Dinner back in Luwuk City and check in to your 3-star hotel for the night.
Day 2
Early transfer to the ferry point.
A motorboat crossing to Panenteng Island, with a good chance of dolphins on the way.
Explore Paisupok Lake by motorboat or paddleboard, with swimming, snorkeling, or freediving in its clear water and time to meet the people who live along its shore.
Cool off at Paisubatango with turquoise-water swimming and rock jumping.
Lunch on the sand at Puganda Beach.
Beach time with snorkeling, a rope swing, and fresh coconut.
One last stop at Kilo 5 Beach on the way back.
Dinner and overnight.
Day 3
Breakfast at the hotel.
A morning at Laumarang Waterfall, a jungle-framed cascade with cool pools to wade into.
Lunch before your airport transfer.
Departure from Luwuk Airport.
June to September, during Indonesia's dry season, has the calmest seas and the best visibility for snorkeling.
Three days is a good introduction covering the main attractions efficiently. Some travelers extend to 4 or 5 days for a more leisurely pace.
No experience is required. Activities are optional, and non-swimmers can wade, float, or watch from the motorboat.
Moderate, with early starts, boat travel, swimming, and light waterfall walking. Suitable for generally healthy travelers.
