Terms of Service
These terms apply when you use asiktravel.com and when you book a trip through us. By using the site or booking a trip, you accept these terms. Indonesian law governs the relationship between you and us.

Who we are and what we do
Asik Travel is a curated marketplace for tours in Indonesia, operated by PT Asik Travel Indonesia. We arrange trips ourselves and also list trips operated by independent partners we vet. Each tour page tells you whether Asik or a partner operates the trip.
How booking works
When you book, you enter into a contract for the trip with the operator listed on the tour page (sometimes that is us, sometimes a partner). We act as agent for partner-operated trips and as principal for our own.
All prices on the site are in IDR (Indonesian Rupiah) at source and converted to your locale's display currency for convenience. The IDR price is what we charge — currency conversion at payment time is handled by your payment provider and may differ slightly.
A booking is confirmed when we send you a confirmation email with a booking reference. Until then, no contract exists.
Payment
We accept PayPal and Wise. Full payment is required at booking unless the tour page states otherwise. PayPal does not process cards issued in countries it sanctions — Russian and certain other customers should contact us via WhatsApp to arrange an alternative.
We do not collect Indonesian PPN (VAT) directly on tours sold to foreign tourists where the activity is consumed in Indonesia and the operator is the principal supplier. Where PPN applies we show it as a separate line.
Cancellation and refunds
See our Refund Policy for the full schedule. Short version: free cancellation up to 48 hours after booking, then a tiered refund based on how close to departure you cancel. Some trips (charters, liveaboards, festival weeks) have stricter terms shown on the tour page.
Changes by us or the operator
Weather, safety, and force majeure (volcanic activity, sea state, government restrictions) sometimes require a trip to change route or be cancelled. If the operator cancels for these reasons, we offer a full refund or a credit for a future trip — your choice. We do our best to give as much notice as possible.
Your responsibilities
You must give us accurate information. You must hold a valid passport with at least 6 months remaining at travel date. You are responsible for visas, vaccinations, and travel insurance — we strongly recommend insurance that covers cancellation, medical evacuation, and personal items.
You must follow operator safety instructions on tour. Operators can refuse service to anyone who is unsafe, abusive, or under the influence in a way that endangers the group.
Liability
We take reasonable care selecting operators and verifying their licenses, insurance, and safety record. Operators carry their own liability insurance. To the extent the law allows, our liability for any single booking is capped at the amount you paid for that booking. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.
This cap does not affect rights you have under mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence (EU package travel directive, UK consumer law, Indonesian consumer protection law).
Reviews and user content
When you post a review, you confirm it is honest and based on your own experience. We may edit reviews for clarity, legality (defamation, profanity) and brevity but we will not change your verdict. We can remove reviews that violate the law or our review rules.
Intellectual property
Site content — text, photos, illustrations, code, brand — is owned by us or licensed to us. Personal, non-commercial sharing (a link to a page, a tour photo on your own social feed) is fine. Republishing whole pages, scraping, or commercial reuse needs written permission.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. Any dispute will be resolved first by good-faith negotiation; if that fails, by the courts of South Jakarta (Pengadilan Negeri Jakarta Selatan). EU and UK consumers can also bring proceedings in their home country under mandatory consumer law.
Changes to these terms
We can update these terms. The version that applies to your booking is the one in force when you booked. Material changes are emailed to active customers and announced on the site for 30 days.
