Day 1
Hotel pickup and a quick transfer to the boat in Luwuk.
You cruise out toward Panenteng Island, watching for playful dolphins along the way.
Swim and snorkel the crystal-clear water of Paisupok Lake, where freedivers are welcome to bring their own gear, then carry on by boat to Batango Lagoon for more swimming and a chance to meet the local fishing community.
Lunch and downtime on the white sand of Puganda Beach, with optional snorkeling over the coral, fresh young coconut, and the classic beach swings.
The boat heads back to Luwuk for a hotel drop-off by 18:00
The full tour runs from about 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, roughly 12 hours: around 2 hours of boat travel between islands, 4 hours swimming and snorkeling at Paisupok Lake and Batango Lagoon, and 2.5 hours relaxing on Puganda Beach with lunch included. The itinerary flexes with weather and sea conditions.
Dolphins are wild, so sightings cannot be guaranteed, but many guests spot playful dolphins during the morning crossing toward Panenteng Island. The local guide knows where they tend to appear and keeps a lookout.
Yes. At Paisupok Lake the water is calm and shallow near the edges, ideal for beginners or non-swimmers who want to wade and enjoy the scenery. Life jackets are available on request, and snorkeling is optional at every stop.
Reef-safe sunscreen, quick-dry swimwear, a waterproof phone case or dry bag, mosquito repellent, flip-flops for the boat, a light towel, and a water bottle. Bring your own mask if you have one, though basic gear is available.
June to September, the dry season, has minimal rain, the best underwater visibility, and the calmest seas. September is typically the driest.
