Pura Petitenget is a Hindu sea temple right on the beach in Seminyak, surrounded by some of the area's best-known restaurants and beach clubs. It is an active place of worship tied to the same coastal temple lineage as Tanah Lot, and the name roughly refers to a 'mysterious chest' from local legend.
Unlike the big ticketed temples, Petitenget is small, free, and woven into daily life: you will see offerings at the gates and ceremonies on temple days. Non-Hindus cannot enter the inner courtyards, so the visit is about the gates, the beachfront setting, and the contrast with the surrounding nightlife.
It makes a quiet, quick stop, and the beach right beside it is a calmer place to catch the sunset.
