Friwen Wall is a vertical reef face running along the edge of little Friwen island, close enough to Waisai to be reached in well under an hour. The wall is dense with soft coral, sea fans and sponges, and because it drops away steeply from very near the surface, you can float on top with a snorkel and look straight down what amounts to a living cliff.
